💪 Last night, hashtag#France celebrated the official launch of the Association Française pour les Émissions Négatives (AFEN). It aims to mobilize French stakeholders to scale CDR and help achieve its national strategy of reaching net zero by 2050.
🤝 If we want Europe to lead on CDR, we need Gemany and France to lead. With the Deutscher Verband für negative Emissionen e.V. (DVNE) in Germany and now AFEN in France, it is time to extend the long-stanting Franco-German friendship and collaboration to the field of CDR.
💡 For those interested in digging deeper into the realities and potential of CDR in France, I highly recommend this report by Carbon Gap: https://lnkd.in/dGDgfuii
