Yesterday’s post about current developments in the U.S. Department of Energy added the wrong kind of fuel to the fire.
I stated that it was the end of CDR at DoE and that the CDR team at the DoE might be gone.
I was wrong.
I should not have used such an attention grabbing headline or framed my knowledge as facts when it reflected only a limited understanding of what is going on.
Thank those who have publicly and privately reached out to me to provide me with their feedback and provide additional insights on what is happening.
One thing that I am very proud of is the sense of community that we’ve managed to build within this group of dedicated, passionate, and amazing people working in CDR. And in hindsight, yesterday’s post did not positively contribute to our ecosystem/community as a whole.
We are all in this together, and we are all working hard to ensure that this is just a hiccup in the scale up of CDR in the US.
