📣 Louder for the people in the back: we will not reach gigaton scale needed without government policy support

🏛️ Happy to have my latest blog, “Government as Catalyst: Strategic Financing Paths for Scaling Carbon Dioxide Removal” now published on illuminem. 

🗣️ In the blog, I suggest a framework with seven main policy mechanisms available for governments and provide some real-world examples. Though fairly Global North centred (thanks to some great conversation last week with Benedikt von Butler) the aim of the post is to provide a simplified overview of the current landscape and possibilities to jumpstart a conversation. 

🚀 We need to reach scale sooner than later, and I am a firm believer that we need conducive government policies to get us there.
